Fairford Welcomes New Centris Brand

Devon based manufacturer Fairford Electronics is delighted to announce the latest addition to its product portfolio; Centris.
Centris is a Medium Voltage Motor Control Solution which is designed for motors ranging from 2.3 kV up to 13.8 kV, and they are available for motor sizes up to 600 amps.
This Medium Voltage Motor Controller can work within any medium voltage application which runs at a fixed speed. The product provides superior power control for your most important assets, and allows maximum protection with “True Thermal Modelling,” by enabling smooth, steeples control of acceleration and deceleration.
To date similar Medium Voltage technologies have been used extensively around the globe from the Marine industry to Oil and Gas companies such as NASA, and US Government buildings including the Pentagon.
Fairford already have over 30 years experience of dealing with Low Voltage Motor Control solutions, and now thanks to specialist training their technical team are able to give unrivalled support surrounding this new Medium Voltage Motor Control Solution from initial advice about the specification of the motor control solution to full after sales service and commissioning.

- Advanced motor protection relay and ramp features programmable via the keypad or a laptop computer.
- Fibre optically isolated low voltage compartment with up to 110kV BIL rating for safety and reliability.
- Load-break / fault-make rated disconnect switch with door safety interlocking.
Fully rated bypass contactor for increased thermal capacity and optional across-the-line starting.
- RTD Option accepts up to 12 RTD inputs.
- Zero sequence ground fault protection option.
- NEMA 12 gasketed enclosure (NEMA 3R optional).
Centris will be available to order exclusively from Fairford from 1st July 2012.
